At the heart of the company is a global online community, where thousands of people and thousands of political, cultural and commercial organisations engage in a continuous conversation about their beliefs, behaviours and brands.

We combine this continuous stream of data with our deep research expertise and broad industry experience, to develop the technologies and methodologies that will enable more collaborative decision making. Most of the studies we realize are custom studies our clients give us an assignment for. For this we use our online panel with about 200.000 participants.

The primary focus of this position will be to manage and to develop a team of about 15 sales professionals as well as deliver against your own individual sales targets. National Sales Manager in an international market research company, Cologne / Germany

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and drive a section based sales approach and increase sales penetration across the installed customer base
  • Lead in developing the overall sales strategy in conjunction with the CEO
  • Build, develop, organise and motivate the sales team to ensure outstanding productivity and performance
  • Strong collaboration with the Head of Research

Job specification

  • Senior decision maker, up to and including C-suite level executives
  • Excellent track record of hitting personal and team targets
  • Experience of mentoring and managing a telesales team
  • Strong business and commercial acumen
  • Strong initiative, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Proactive account management and sales focus
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English
